Written by Vivianne

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty, Sanrio held a HUGE party in Santa Monica last week (we’re talking mini golf course, pop-up shop, family activities, mobile food court, game booths, etc.) But the most exciting thing for Japanizers is a special exhibit featuring over 50 artist’s interpretation of the super kawaii creatures. Hello Kitty by Buff Monster

Hello Kitty in rainbow land by Gary Baseman

Hello Kitty garden by Eric Joyner

Hello Kitty glamour girl by Camilla D’Erricco
