My Philosophy: Miracles Are Fab

Written by Bryce

Retinoid pads are the lazy girl’s answer to anti-aging.

In the never-ending search for the fountain of youth (but mostly fabulousness), I took a near and dear doctor friend’s advice and headed down the vitamin A road.  Most doctors prescribe RetinA, or the like, but for those of us that are prescription-shy (or just want to save a little money), I’ve found an over the counter product that’ll surely knock your socks off.

Philosophy’s Miracle Worker Anti-Aging Retinoid Pads look clinical, but are gentle on the skin, easy to use, and leave your skin glowing.  Each kit comes with a little tub of pads (60 to be exact), and a small bottle of solution that looks like it could’ve come straight out of a chemist’s lab.  The solution is meant to be poured over the pads so they soak up all the vitaminy goodness of the liquid.  The pads are equally moistened with the solution, and ready for use within a matter of seconds.  I started using these pads about 2 weeks ago as part of my pre-sleep routine.  Brush teeth, wash face, wipe down with a pad, add moisture.  By the end of the first week I noticed a difference in the texture of my skin, but the most immediate gratification comes from the fact that each pad is textured.  That means there is gentle exfoliation happening just from wiping one of these pads across your face: and it makes me feel good that I can ditch one product (exfoliating beads) for the ease of these pads that are also super easy to travel with.  They’re great for your warm-weather routine because they’re light, non-greasy, and leave skin feeling clean without being too drying.

Check it out.
