STEPH
Steph is a born-and-bred Brooklyn brunette prone to excessive alliteration. A frequenter of NYC nightlife, she’s been known to bounce from seedy to swanky affairs without missing a beat. Armed with nothing but Beauty Addicts black eyeliner, Steph can be found channeling Zooey Deschanel anywhere below Union Square. Her kryptonite? Loud music, big hair, and French martinis. |
MATT
Matt is a contemporary renaissance man, experienced in many disciplines. When not touring the world with rock band Liam and Me, he lives hermit crab-style in NYC, perusing the finest and foulest the city can provide. Matt appreciates jeans that fit well, good haircuts, technology, and blended whiskey. He can often be found at the ICG offices fixing broken electronics. |
RACHEL
Rachel is a freelance writer from Connecticut working in the fashion industry. She enjoys felt-tip pens, fleur de sel caramels, champagne cocktails, and rhinestone-embellished ballet flats. |
ALIZA
Aliza is a born and bred Manhattan-ite who graduated Lehigh University in 2007 with a degree in Journalism. She currently lives with her two patient roommates and works for Valentino Fashion Group where she handles a lot of garment bags, answers a lot of phones, and does a lot of what anyone tells her to (most eagerly in PR and Marketing). She favors brunch over lunch, heels over flats, tequila over vodka, downtown over uptown, and a tropical destination over pretty much anything else in the world. |
LOLITA
Lolita is a Parsons student from Mexico who enjoys fashion, music, and Eco-friendly designs. You can usually find her at a club even on a sunday or sleeping all day. Her perfect match? Her blackberry. Addicted to house music and over abuses her freedom. Gets herself in trouble in any opportunity she has and loves it. |
DANIELLE
Danielle is a driven and affable lady of Brooklyn who fancies candlelit dinners with good company, Vosges Haut-Chocolate, and photography. She loves her Nars lipstick, and she likes her men how she likes her lattes: tall, skinny, and extra hot. Her current obsession? Lusting after Gucci’s ‘Joy’ Medium Boston bag in Chocolate Guccissima leather. |
KELA
A fashion aficionado and red carpet regular, Kela Walker is a TV personality delivering celeb news, fashion fads and luxury trends to those who want and need to be in the know. A fan of all things feminine and chic; she’s never without her must have accessory—a large handbag-packing any and everything from Louboutins and lip gloss to leggings and lashes. VIVIANNE
Vivianne is a modern day lady of the lake. Born on the south shore of Montreal, she fell in love with New York City at the age of thirteen and came back to live a decade later with the discipline of a warrior and a warehouse full of GURU energy drinks. You can spot her having a cafe con leche at Habana, shopping for kicks on 125th street or drinking elderflower water at Cafe Sabarsky. She’s obsessed with urban mythology, fragrance, pop art, her laptop, beauty and whole foods. She’ll bite your neck if you smell too good, and that’s why, online, she goes by the name of ladyshark. |
EMILY
Emily is a New Yorker with an enormous brain that’s on a never-ending quest for high style, beauty, men with accents, and any place with a disco ball. Her obsessions are to seek out the newest thing in cosmetics (vibrating mascara anyone?) and finding a decent sushi place. Things that she loves? Her blackberry, Chanel lipgloss in Ironic Tonic, and having a good hair day. |
ALYSSA
Born and raised in Connecticut, Alyssa is an outgoing, freckle-faced Public Relations student currently living in New York. She appreciates True Religion jeans, vodka, Sienna Miller’s style and late nights out on the town. Current obsessions? The Feed the Animals album by Girl Talk and Marc Jacobs’ Bruna Shoulder Bag. |
LANA
Lana is a free-spirited and sociable young lady, Czech-born and London-raised. Now living in New York, she dishes on her dates with the fabulous and flawed men of the city as The Luxury Spot’s sex and relationships columnist. Britten was born and raised in New Jersey and spent her 20’s breaking hearts in California, getting her MFA in writing along the way. Alexis is a twenty-something West Villager with her Master’s from Columbia. She has an unhealthy obsession with ripped jeans (which she wears even when conventionally inappropriate), wishes Christmas decorations stayed up year-round (even though she is Jewish), and is in desperate pursuit of thick Brook-Shields’-like eyebrows (which she was genetically denied). She loves anything with horses, is addicted to pilates, and could wander around Sephora for hours. |
JAMIE K
Jamie is a recent FIT graduate in search of the next best thing. She can’t get enough of men in suits and unwinding with her favorite bottle of wine. A free spirited attitude that always gets the last word, there’s never a dull moment. Her favorite activities are laughing hysterically, a night out dancing in the perfect party dress, and looking and feeling fabulous.
