As fall quickly approaches us, I thought I’d post a warming recipe full of autumn flavors to get us all in the seasonal spirit. This sweet potato chocolate milk is vegan, free of refined sugar, and couldn’t get any better! Image and recipe via Healthful Pursuit.
- 2 cups cubed sweet potato (no need to peel)
- 4 cups water
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- 3 tablespoons coconut nectar, agave nectar, or honey
