Forget beach views and sleep ON the beach!

Ice hotels are fun for the winter, but now that it’s starting to warm up, it’s better to stay in a room that won’t melt. What better way to get in the mood for summer than to stay in a hotel made from sand?! The world’s first sand castle hotel is located in Dorset in the UK, made from about 1000 tons of sand, built over 158qm, and reaching a height of 4 meters. King of the castle Mark Anderson, an established British sculptor, was commissioned by to design one of the cheapest beach side hotels on the market: guests can stay at the hotel for only $21 a night to enjoy sleeping on a sand bed, bask in the sun, and listen to the relaxing sound of the tide breaking in the surf!
