Yum Alert: Panera Bread Chocolate French Toast

Soup Bowls make good French Toast. Who knew?

When I stumbled upon this recipe, the first thing that came to my mind… “Soup Bowls!” Panera Bread, known for, well, their bread, salads, sandwiches and other toungue pleasing morsels, can do no wrong. Exhibit A:

Chocolate French Toast

Serves 4-6  via  SprinklesBakes.com

10 slices Panera Bread Country Miche

1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup hot water
5 large eggs
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
12 oz. semisweet chocolate chopped, or semisweet chocolate chips
Prepared butter flavored pancake syrup
