Yum Alert: Creamy Avocado Pasta

It is pretty much a fact that just about everything is better with avocado, so when you add it to something as intrinsically good as pasta, you can only imagine the magical outcome. Ingredients:

1 medium ripe avocado, pitted

½ lime

2 garlic cloves

¼ jalapeno

¼ cup packed basil

1 cup spinach

1 teaspoon kosher salt

2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

¼ cup freshly grated parmesan

1 pound whole wheat spaghetti

1 cup spinach

basil leaves to garnish
