Your Beauty Routine, Coming Up Roses

Written by Bryce

It’s that time of year, ladies. Valentine’s Day is typically more disappointing than not (even for us married gals, because truthfully, most non-gay men think a heart shaped Russell Stover’s box is all we want), so my philosophy is to give ourselves all the flowery, fabulous treats our love-loving bodies can handle. Here’s a start:

1. Weleda’s Wild Rose Pampering Lotion. Ok, let’s start with this- it smells like happiness was shoved into a little bottle, just waiting to explode all over your skin (did that sound inappropriate? whatever, it’s accurate). Weleda boasts natural ingredients, feel good company ethics, and products that really work. I have a bottle of this sitting on my nightstand right now, in fact.

2. Nature’s Gate Rose Hand Cream. It’s rosy, cutesy, natural, cheap, effective… wait, I feel like I’m talking about a hooker in Oklahoma. Just kidding, this stuff is great, and the perfect leave-it-in-your-purse hand cream to share with other love-lusting friends.

3. Korres Wild Rose Eye Brightening Treatment. Aside from it containing real wild rose, there are pearly little particles in the formula that instantly perk up even the dullest eyes. Like, you know, if you’ve been up crying all night because your boyfriend gets you a fleece pullover instead of a hand-written card and dinner. As a mom running on like 4 hours of sleep each night, I can personally vouch for this one.
