You Only Like Me Cause I’m 40% Naked.

We’ve all wondered before what exactly it is that men want.  Well, according to some serious scientific research, men want 40% naked women.  Move over, ultra-religious groups… fitted knee-length dresses with bare arms and a little cleavage is the name of the game.

The study by experts at the University of Leeds has actually calculated the exact clothed-to-non-clothed ratio that’ll attract a man (although I have a sneaking suspicion that if you end up 50% naked, no man is going to argue).

The research was conducted by four female researchers who acted as incognito detectives from above the dancefloor at one of the UK’s most popular nightclubs.  The researchers used hidden recorders and took note of what the lady clubbers were wearing and how many times they were approached by men and asked to dance.  Sorry, this study doesn’t account for lezzy dancefloor love.

The researchers deemed that each bare arm accounted for 10 percent of the body, each leg for 15, and the torso was 50.

The findings were that women who were 40 percent naked attracted twice as many men as their covered up counterparts.  Surprising? No.  But here’s what is.  Looking like a total trashwhore (showing more than 50% flesh) deterred men just as much as too much clothing.

Psychologist Dr Colin Hendrie, who led the study, told the Daily Mail: “Any more than 40 per cent and the signal changes from ‘allure’ to one indicating general availability and future infidelity.”

“Show some leg, show some arm, but not any more than that.”
