Vintage Spotting: Christmas Ornaments

Written by Olga

Take it from a Jew, vintage Christmas ornaments are the bee’s knees.

I may stuff my face with homemade latkes while only bothering to light the menorah for only three out of eight nights this time of year, but that doesn’t mean my tribe membership keeps me from appreciating Christmas. I love everything about Christmas – the smell of pine, the Christmas songs, the lit up trees, the presents, the ornaments, the movies, the presents, etc. But speaking of ornaments, some of the most beautiful I’ve seen are the ones that look like they’ve been around forever, passed on from generation to generation. Not only do vintage ornaments add a classy touch to any Christmas decor, they offer that nice piece of history perfect for retelling stories of Christmases past.
