In the efforts to promote their pre-paid cell service in NYC, Verizon Wireless offered 99 cent cab rides a few weeks back… even thought there were only 40 of them… and they were only running to certain touristy destinations. Good idea though!
Now, tomorrow, they’re expanding their 99 cent scheming even more making NYC get even fatter with 99cent Mr. Softee at select Verizon Ice Cream Truck locations during lunch time … ala their intense ice cream shop commercial with the creepy dad:
Manhattan: 44th & 7th in Times Sq
Bronx: E. Tremont & Bryant at the West Farms Square Plaza
Brooklyn: Box St at West St
Queens: Main St. & Sandford Ave in Flushing
Sorry Staten Island…better luck next time.
