Travel Spotting: Mobile Mansion

Written by Tanner

The most luxurious, mobile mansion you’ve ever seen

When I hear the word “luxury” my first thought is “mobile home.” Now, thanks to Austrian company Marchi Mobile, you can take that US Wal Mart parking lot tour you’ve dreamed about all your life – in $3 million dollar baby style. You heard it right, this mansion on wheels, aka the Elemment Palazzo, is essentially the luxury yacht of the land, and comes with all the features you’d expect from a luxury camper that costs more than three times the cost of your average Lamborghini. The best part – you have all the comforts of your home with you on the road: master bedroom with adjoining bathroom, leather interiors, rainfall shower, fireplace, and 40 TV’s (you took this road trip to catch up on all the seasons of “Real Housewives” anyway, not to see the world, right?).

This interior space is sadly more spacious than my New York apartment, and three times as luxurious. Oh, and when you look out the window from this camper you see a constantly changing landscape and breathtaking scenery (disclaimer: depends on geographic location, not applicable in New Jersey), in comparison with the view out of the window in my apartment – which is of a half naked elderly man spilling halfway out of his window whilst propped on a pillow to secure a comfortable perched position… creeper.

No, this is not the view of a European palace, but of the master bedroom of a mobile home. Anyone spot the mirrored ceiling over the master bed – kinky Austrians!
