Travel Spotting: Dry valleys in Antarctica?

Written by Gary

If you are like me at all, you probably always assumed that Antarctica was a barren wasteland of ice- beautiful but uninhabitable. You probably always thought that it was like a foreign planet where everything looked different and functioned in a way that normal people couldn’t understand.

You were absolutely right. These photos depict the dry valleys of Antarctica- places where the ice doesn’t touch because the wind sucks all the moisture out of the terrain. They are the harshest deserts in the world, and frankly I cannot wait to go and visit. I am going to put it on my bucket list. I love a good challenge.
