There’s Just Something About Those Aviators..

Written by Maura

I have a passionate love for the 80’s Tom Cruise. You know who I’m talking about..the Top Gun, pre-scientology, pre-psycho, pre-jumping on Oprah’s couch Tom Cruise. He was a young hottie, portraying a masculine show off Air Force man. There’s just something about a man in uniform, something about those aviators that can drive a girl wild.

Since it is impossible to freeze Maverick in time and some how seduce him into marrying me, I’ll just have to do the next best thing: find me a stud and buy him some Randolph Engineering shades. Randolph Engineering has supplied sunglasses to the US Military and Air Forces world-wide since 1982. We are talking legit here, people..these are the highest quality sunglasses I’ve found and will give your man a hint of the hottie Top Gun look.

Now we, here at TheLuxurySpot are some independant ladies and although it’s fine to do something nice for your beau, why not treat yourself as well? Randolph Engineering sunglasses are unisex and since aviators have been all the rage in Hollywood lately, I got a pair for myself. I mean just think about me and my imaginary boyfriend looking like Brad and Angelina, in our fly new aviators.

I would recommend the Concorde gold-rimmed Randolph’s, those are the ones that I got and its hard to find me without them now. They are super personalizable so you can choose your rims, the lens color and everything, to make them suit you perfectly! So whether its for your man or for yourself, get shopping and score some sweet new shades from Randolph Engineering!

  • I actually just watched Top Gun last night, and you’re right – with all of his recent antics, it comes as a surprise to be reminded what boosted him to stardom all of those years ago, long before Scientology got a hold of him.
