So, I have purposely NOT written anything about Jon and Kate Gosselin of Jon and Kate Plus 8 for some time now. They have been getting an insane amount of media coverage, and maybe it’s just me but I’m not really that interested. I mean, sure, I would feel bad  for those kids..(especially Aaden because he’s my favorite..so cute, with his little glasses) But really? is all this news? Kate has always bossed him around on the show since it began..FIVE seasons ago. And not for nothing but you have to be almost overly organized and structured to be able to cope and successfully raise 8 children, never mind that they are 2 sets of multiples.
So the divorce rumor mill started running full force when the Gosselin’s decided that they will make a major announcement on Monday. Frankly, I hope its their little “eff you” to the world, and they just say we love each other and these reports are creative editing and a publicity stunt. Apparently there is some evidence out there that leads me to believe that my hopes might not come true. Jon Gosselin was spotted in NYC shopping for an apartment in Trump Towers. First of all, I guess TLC pays pretty well if you can afford to live in Trump Towers and still support 8 children. TLC, if you are reading this, I will gladly volunteer myself for a reality show if you can provide me with enough dough to do such things, but if it involves having an obscene amount of children then nevermind..thats a deal breaker for me. Second of all, to drag 8 kids back and forth from Pa to NYC every other weekend is gonna be a pain in the butt, I can’t imagine being stuck in traffic with a shit ton of kids in the back that are tired, bored, cranky and car sick..welcome to my worst nightmare. And lastly, I don’t really know what a divorce will do for either of them. It would mean less time with their kids, and while I do understand personal happiness and success, when you committ to having that many children, they have to be priority number one. I thought that if Jon and Kate agreed on anything its that their kids are the most important thing in their lives.
