Swanky Times with Oliver’s Scholars

On Wednesday, December 9th, Quo hosted a fundraiser event for Oliver Scholar’s Program; a NY education nonprofit. Oliver provides an educational opportunity to gifted African American and Latino children who are in underperforming schools.

The event was hosted by Ronald Razmi, from the Oliver Board of Trustees, and featured David Adams, the CEO of Oliver who spoke about the mission of Oliver and the challenges of nonprofits in trying economic times.

The main event of the evening was a runway show of the latest collection of New York designer, Peyman Umay. Peyman showed his latest line of menswear which appeared to display an edgy, yet classic and elegant look for men’s’ suites and casual wear. The evening also featured a world class violinist, Sarina Suno, who dazzled the crowd with several solo performances .

Attendees included Alex McCord from the Real Housewives of New York, Pierre Downing from Harlem Heights, celebrity Derek Warburton from Derek Loves Fashion. and Robin Ross of YOUAREONTHELIST.com
