Soap Spotting: The Good Stuff

Written by Bryce

Love these bars.

Bar soap is the best soap, in my opinion. You don’t often hear me raving about body washes and all that sudsy stuff- it’s usually not good for the environment or our skin. Some bar soaps, however, have a friendlier carbon footprint and can leave our skin silky smooth, healthy, and yearning to be touched.

1. Tocca’s Grapefruit Cucumber Bar. This bad boy is chock full of vitamin E to leave skin supple and algae to leave you refreshed. Aside from the inner goodness, the packaging is too good to be true. It’s basically screaming out “hey give me as a set of 2 as a housewarming gift.”

2. Aubrey Organics Bath Bar. Under $6 for an organic bar? Yes, please! This femme bar is perfect for any gal that wants high-net-worth ingredients like organic Borage oil, and discreet enough packaging to trick her man into using it as well.

3. Claus Porto Knows How to Make a Fancy Soap. And that’s just a fact. This boxed set of nine screams out luxury with a variety of scents that seem more like flavors, and wrapping that makes them seem more like gifts than body-washers. Oh, and they’re hard-milled so they basically last forever (Ivory, be damned!).

4. LUSH’s Sultana. It is indeed the Sultan of soap. It’s pretty-smelling, rustic-looking, and damn good for your skin. And, yeah, you get the whole LUSH experience if you go to the store and buy it.
