Built about 300 years ago on the Russian Kizhi island stands an architectural gem that most of the western world is entirely unaware of: two unfinished multi-story church masterpieces. The Church of the Transfiguration and the Church of the Intercession collectively looks like a time capsule filled with the babies of Narnia and Harry Potter. Brilliant.
