Runway Beauty, Drugstore Prices

New York Fashion Week’s Fall/Winter 2013 showing was a big one for beauty. Basically, we’ll be throwing out all our old sparkly stuff from years past and making way for a few very specific trends. The first was textured, voluminous hair. Celeb stylist Patrick Melville teaches us how to get the look armed with little more than a can of AVEENO’s Dry Shampoo (hello, it’s under $8… we have no reason NOT to love this trend).

And, the lipstick trend is basically splitting into two distinctly different arenas. We’ve got the so-nude-it-looks-like-you’ve-been-freezing-for-two-hours, or my personal fave, the bright and matte lip. My fave cheapie to get the job done for this look is Maybelline’s Vivids line. Fuschia Flash is personally my fave shade, like, ever. And at $7.49, you can buy a ton so you never lose one (hello, one in your desk drawer, purse, medicine cabinet, in his casa, etc).
