When it seems like nothing positive can be found amidst Sandy‘s aftermath, photos like these remind you otherwise. Sandy proved to be a huge bonding experience for everyone affected. It brought out people’s generosity, their willingness to come together as a community, and even allowed President Obama and Republican Chris Christie to transcend political lines in this time of need right before the big election.
