The problem with having a small apartment in the city is that if you aren’t a total douche-bag or bitch, you probably have friends. When you have friends, you want to entertain, but unfortunately space if often limited. That is why this expandable REK coffee table is perfect in every way, shape, and form.
When I want to have a dinner party at my place, I just detach my headboard, put it on my bed, and use it as a tabletop. We sit on everything from ottomans, to stools, and utility chairs. If I had this REC coffee table, I could probably be a little more creative in terms of eating with my friends. As you can see, it slides out in basically every direction to create different spaces, and then compacts neatly into a solid rectangular base.
