Must Have Purses for Under $500

Written by Bryce

The last several years in the bag scene have brought the average woman to tears.  We all want the best designs, the softest leathers, the greatest colors, and quite often the biggest names.  It’s been no surprise that Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Dolce & Gabbana, Goyard, and several others have been the forerunners.  But, as the holiday season fast approaches, we all seem to have a little less extra cash to infuse our own wardrobes, and one upside of this down economy is that even top designers seem to be having incredible sales.

Take Kate Spade, for example.  Kate’s bags have been considered classic wardrobe staples for years, and never seem to go out of style.  This is a perfect time to invest in a great bag, especially at a great price.  The “perry street noel paola” bag is elegant, can be worn day and night, and is crafted from top quality leathers.  It was $495, but has been drastically reduced to only $248!

Or try this fun purple leather purse by Coach, because you know that even if you decide that purple is too wild for you or not your style (even though it’s this season’s MUST HAVE COLOR), you know you’ll have at least one or two friends willing to take it off your hands!  At $498, it’s a low-risk purse investment!

Or what about this adventurous bag by L.A.M.B.? I happen to love Gwen Stefani, and for me, this bag is the perfect mix of funk and class. It’s toned down and neutral with your little black dress, or a ready for an evening of mayhem in your brightly colored silk Miami-esque halter.  And for $495 from Vivre.com, this is a bag you can use in all seasons, on all continents, and can even fit a bunch of the stuff you don’t really need to be lugging around:)
