Music Spotting: Extra Pulp Please

And you thought they were over? The reunited Brit-pop band Pulp has erupted with the best possible comeback of all time. Even in their Britpop heyday (1990s), Pulp has never played to an American audience even a quarter of the size like the one that turned up for their past Friday night Coachella performance.

At these past two weeks at Coachella each song had a high rock and roll-packed set. Beginning with the band’s entrance  which was preceded by a scrolling electronic ticker above the stage instructing the crowd to scream real loud and similar clichéd commands. The band began with the iconic “Do You Remember the First Time?” and closed with “Common People”.

You can watch their entire Coachella 2012 performance here.
