I am in love with Adam Green and Binki Shapiro’s new album. I have been on the Greenster train since his first album in 2001 when he was on tour with my favorite band The Strokes. Same with Binki. I have always been a fan of her band Little Joy. Binki’s voice sounds like a mix between Joni Mitchell and Mama Cass.
The two creating an impressive combination for such a young lady. Their recent collaboration is perfection. Adam’s dark and melancholic and whimsical lyrics, contrasted with Binki’s honest and simple lyrics and beautiful voice.
