Halloween Makeup How To: Honey Boo Boo Child!

Written by Elizabeth Mitchell

I’m a superstar because I do pageantttts!

“You better redneckognize!!!!” She’s one of the most hyperactive, out of control reality stars of all time and she loves to get down and dirty in the mud like a pig y’all (that is, when she’s not strutting her stuff at pageants). Who are we referring to?? It’s Honey Boo Boo Child, of course! And now, you can finally score Alana’s over the top makeup look for Halloween. Because why wouldn’t you want to go as a Go-Go Juice chugging 7-year-old pageant queen?

Makeup artist and beauty expert Josephine Fusco explains how:

“The key to this look is more is more,” she says. First, start with your face.

Face:  Use a lighter shade of foundation with full coverage.

Eyes: On your eyes, use bright pink and purple eye shadows – fuchsia pink on your lower lid and purple extended to the outer corner of your lid. Highlight your brow bone/upper lid with white eye shadow, and line your upper and lower lids with black eyeliner. “This kid definitely has falsies on,” notes Fusco, “so I would recommend thick false lashes—something from Ardell like 202 or 203.  Pencil in your brows with a dark blonde brow pencil, and put a drop of the white eye shadow on the inner corners of your eyes.

Cheeks:  Moving on to your cheeks…Apply a bright pink powder blush to the apples of your cheeks and a deeper fuchsia hue to your upper cheeks.

Lips:  For your lips, use a pink grape lipstick that is pearlized. Make sure to line your lips a little deeper than the lipstick and you’re done!
