No matter how creative you are, in order to become a really great artist, it is crucial to find your niche: something you are widely known for and that nobody does better than you. It has been the case for Japanese artist Rie Hosokai, aka Daisy Balloon, who, after discovering balloon decorating when working at a flower shop in 1998, started her own balloon business, creating complex dresses & accessories as well as high-fashion art installations from a simple, childish material.

I am obsessed with her wedding dresses: so beautiful, so fragile… just like a woman’s heart 😉
