Written by Vivianne

This fall, entomophagy is making its way to hipster Brooklyn.

Bugs are a traditional food in many cultures across Africa, Asia and Latin America. This fall, entomophagy is making its way to hipster Brooklyn as Philip Ross, founder of San Francisco’s CRITTER Salon, will be hosting a four course pairing of edible insects & fine alcohols on September 18 at The Brooklyn Kitchen for your nomming pleasure.

The event, titled Entomo-Cuisine: Insect Tasting Menu, is priced at $85 per person. You’ll get to taste crazy stuff such as Wax Moth Larvae ceviche with Brooklyn Lager, as well as Grass Hoppers with San Honesto Mezcal.
