Hues of Orange

Written by Ashley

I’ve been a little obsessed with everything and anything having to do with orange later. Maybe it’s me missing my red-headed locks, or maybe it’s me reaping the benefits of the colorful autumnal leaves changing and vitamin C citrus-y scents. Either way, these, a few of my favorites, have been keeping me in tip-top (drunken) shape.

Sniff: This quick fix solid perfume is a killer mid-afternoon pick me up, the scent is warm with honey and sandalwood, but the top fresh orange blossom note awakens the senses. Keep a spray in your desk, and a solid in your purse.   LUSH Orange Blossom Gorilla Perfume [$9.95 lushusa.com]

Smooch: Step outside of the red lipped box this fall. Pair tweed blazers, paisley scarves and denim with a warm orange hue to steer clear from any harsh reds or femme pinks. Try an orange hued gloss, first, if you’re scurred. Baby steps. MAC Pro Longwear Lip Creme in Good to Go [$16  maccosmetics.com]

Glow: A little gossip magazine action, a face mask and a whole lotta tea is what unwinding is all about. Specifically, a face mask containing Citrus Aurantium Dulcis, aka Orange extract. The citrus will help to encourage exfoliation & renewal of skin cells while evening skin tone so your cheeks can look juicy enough to pinch.
