How To Create the Perfect Excuse

Written by Gary

I consider myself a pretty honest person, but I will be the first to admit that sometimes a little white lie is necessary. There are going to be plenty of times in your life when you will be invited or asked to do something, but the mere thought of being involved makes you want to gouge your eyeballs out with Steven Tyler’s free-basing spoon. In these instances it may be necessary to make up an excuse, because telling the truth would surely hurt someone’s feelings.

This handy chart will help you come up with the perfect reason to excuse yourself from any obligation or invite. If you really want to sell it, you have to state your excuse with as much seriousness as possible, and then remove yourself from the conversation, giving the recipient of your white lie no time to process it and/or react.
I wish you the best of luck with your dishonesty. Good day, sir.
