If you needed just one more reason to stay away from everything Paula Deen cooks, here it is… the Diabetes in America map. Diabetes is a big, bad disease that can leave you grumpy, amputated, and blind (surprisingly, unlike Paula Deen).

Although I do agree that Diabetes is a rising issue that needs to be addressed, you failed to mention if this is in regards to type 1 or type 2. I found your tone offensive as a type 1 diabetic as I did nothing to develop type 1 and I need insulin in order to survive.
Normally I find your posts amusing, but this one did not to say the least.
Lauren, you’re right… I apologize for that. I should have addressed type 2 as the culprit, and I’m really to hear you have diabetes.
