You could go ahead and put a tree right in the center of your room. Too bad I can’t even fit in my bedroom, let alone a tree. It’s a nice goal, though.

Pretend like your pre-war flooring is actually pre-civilization with a moss rug. It’s nature’s bathmat.

Who needs wallpaper when you can just throw caution to the wind and line your hallways and floors with creeping vines, greenery, and other pieces of forest (I forget all technical terms referring to nature – it’s part the transition to NYC life).

You can always just go down to Duane Reade and get some room spray. Air Wick is my fave because it’s especially nature-oriented. I mean, limited edition National Park scents? You can’t get much more rural and non-polluted than that.

This iconic “Blaze Bag” by Burberry was released with the Spring 2013 Prorsum collection that debuted at Fashion Week.  I must say that it’s extremely refreshing to see Burberry launch a line that doesn’t incorporate plaid into the designs.  I think of this bag as more of an art piece; I would never wear it, but I would love to own it and showcase it.  The see-through colored vinyl and python lined trim makes the bag a one-of-a-kind, but I have to admit that it does have an awkward shape.  I have a hard time envisioning someone actually carrying it, which is part of the reason why I see it better as a collector’s item.

So, just to come to a consensus on this bag- I love it, I think it’s awesome and unique, but I would never, ever wear it.  So I guess I’m still searching for that Burberry treasure that I can own AND wear every day.

Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake to the west of the Mississippi river. It’s basically like the sexier younger sister of the northern Great Lakes.

At its deepest, Flathead Lake is 370 feet, but it averages about 164 or so. This means that our quaint little clear lake is deeper than the Yellow Sea or the Persian Gulf.

The lake is named for the Flathead Indians, who still live on the Flathead Indian Reservation south of the lake.

Legend has it that the Flathead Lake Monster inhabits the lake. It is described as a large eel-shaped creature similar to the Loch-Ness monster. If the lake is so clear however, wouldn’t you be able to see any large sea serpents swimming around?

Flathead Lake exists at the end of the Rocky Mountain Trench, which was carved out a long time ago by an enormous glacier. It is one of the cleanest lakes in the world for its size and type. So basically if the zombie apocalypse ever happens and you find yourself in need of a bath, you should probably make your way to Montana.

Two nights ago Ben Affleck and Kanye West teamed up to wrap up an emotional year at SNL, and bid farewell to two of the most iconic cast members since Chevy Chase and John Belushi: Bill Hader and Fred Armisen.

The actors are two of the most talented comedians in the world. It was quite sentimental as the two pretended to be an english rock and roll band with the title “It’s a Lovely Day.” Carrie Brownstein from Portlandia, as well as the iconic Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols joined the guys on stage as they all played instruments live.

As the guitar and basses slowed and eventually the music came to a complete stop, Fred Armisen sang the lyric “It’s been allright, I’ve had a lovely night with you.”

Quite frankly, I’m not sure as to how longer I will keep watching my beloved New York show with the two best actors gone. I’m curious as to how the show will evolve in the falling season.

I was lucky enough to get a large enough apartment, but my living room is roughly the size of one of Jennifer Lopez’s butt cheeks. Regardless of the size of your space, you must decorate it well. These tips and tricks should help you navigate those waters, because contrary to what you might think, decorating a small space is much different from designing a large one.
