Ridiculous Spotting: Wearable Luggage

Written by Elizabeth Mitchell

Why carry your luggage, when you can wear it in your jacket like these guys?

Airline baggage fees are annoying, straight up. But I usually just stuff as much crap as I can fit into my carry on bags and call it a day. So what if I don’t have that extra pair of heels? I can probably buy a new pair for the amount of money I just saved. Yeah, OR I could cram them into the pocket of my “wearable luggage.” Excuse me, what?!? Wearable luggage? You’ve got to be kidding, right?

Haha, wrong. Honestly, this website (Jaktogo.com) must be a joke though. If you think I’m going to be parading around the airport with an unattractive luggage jacket on, not to mention one that probably weighs 30 pounds, you’re sadly mistaken. The ingenious Jaktogo garment, as they describe it, is a knee-length outerwear jacket made out of strong, light material that is wind and water-resistant. It is available in both custom leather and denim (oh yippee, how chic!), and it contains 14 pockets of various sizes that can hold more than 30 pounds of clothing or gear such as a camera or laptop computer. Ummm, yeah. I think I’ll just pay the extra $25.00 and check my bag, but thanks!
