Eyeshadows Galore

Written by Alyssa

On most days, I am a mascara and eyeliner kinda gal. I really like the idea of eyeshadows, but I’ve always been too afraid to try them, for the fear of looking like a circus clown after application. However, I figured I needed to mature my look a little bit, and I should start dabbling in some eye shadow goodness.

Before I apply any eye shadow, I prevent those dreaded “raccoon eyes” by slapping on some Shadow Shields

These adhesive strips are placed right under your eye and they prevent streaking and smudging! Perfect for those who tend to have a bit of difficulty applying eyeshadow! For $16.95, you can get a package of 50 and totally save yourself the time/stress of touching up and re-applying!

Some of my favorite eyeshadows are as follows:

Milan Shimmer Eyeshadow, $9

Grace Luster Eyeshadow, $9

Both by Alima Pure, these eye shadows blend perfectly together and create a dark, evening look. These shadows are awesome because you can use them either wet or dry, depending on how dramatic of a look you’d like to go for. They are also mineral based, so they go on easily!

Orchid, $13.50

For a more romantic look, I love Orchid by Make-up designory. This shadow is great for those with green/hazel eyes (like myself!) because I found that it really made my eyes POP. Not only is this color awesome, you can find so many more colors at the MudShop!

Mychelle Eye Shimmer in Champagne

Mychelle Eye Shimmer in Champagne

Mychelle’s Eye Shimmer in Champagne is the ideal shadow for everyday use, and it comes in super conveinent twist-up form, so you can just toss it into your purse. It can be worn alone for a light shimmer, or it can be easily blended with other colors. Plus, it’s on sale right now at Mychelle, so scoff up your own shimmer shadow quickly!
