Drink Something Good for You!

Written by Caitlin

We all know that the best thing to drink is some good old, quality H2O.  But there always comes a time when you want to switch it up and drink something different, something with a little flavor. But that stuff usually isn’t good for you.  Here are some alternatives to your 8 glasses a day that can keep you healthy, with a little flavor.

Prometheus Springs – Professing itself to be the worlds first and only “Capsaicin Spiced Elixir”, each bottle of Prometheus Springs is infused with a healthy dose of Capsaicin, which is extracted naturally from chili peppers, creating a spicy sensation. Added bonus? An astounding array of health benefits.  *With recent studies documented by the American Cancer Journal and Oprah placing it in her top 10 list of super foods, Capsaicin is sure to be a spicy buzzword on everyone’s tongues. Prometheus Springs beverages promote a ton of additional benefits, including a boost in metabolism, moderating the appetite, protecting the heart, fighting cancer, anti-inflammation, relieving congestion, detox-ing your body, and more. Prometheus Springs comes in three flavors Lemon Ginger, Lychee Wasabi, and Pomegranate Black Pepper, all suitable for a stellar cocktail.

My favorite is the Summer Love, a mix of watermelon, Prometheus Springs, and Silver Tequila.  This could be because I use Justin Timberlake‘s 901 Silver Tequila! I’ll do anything for JT.

Not feeling the spice? Try something with an equal amount of flavor, lacking the heat, with Primula Flowering Tea. Not only are these flowering teas really pretty, but each of the 13 flavors of tea offer  health benefits.   At Kourtney Kardashian’s baby shower she gave Primula Flowering Tea sets away as part of her gift bags!  Gift sets of Primula tea would make a great gift for this holiday season, keeping your loved ones healthy!

Try this flavor to brighten your day: Jasmine Flower : Jasminum Sambac Brightens eyes, nourishes and moistens skin, improves skin tone, improves sleep, soothing to the stomach.
