DIY Spotting: Photo Negatives & Lamps Edition

Written by Ashley

Are you strapped for cash and in need of a seriously last minute Father’s Day Gift? This is your solution, right here.

Some old negatives, some stuff laying around your house, a trip to IKEA for a simple Grono lamp (It’s $7, people!) and a little know-how is all you’ll need to craft THE most sentimental and personalized gift of the century, for Dad this year. Beautiful negatives of you guys in your childhood days, your first day of school, or a random compilation of family milestones will be illuminated for years to come. If you don’t have negatives, a trip to the local office supply store can garner you some of precious moments on transparency paper. Volia!

  • Ikea’s Grönö lamp
  • Negatives or other transparancies
  • Mod Podge (this stuff)
  • Foam brush
