A Malaysian artist has recreated Disney princess looks using her hijab.

As you can probably tell, there is a bit of a Disney trend at The Luxury Spot today. We always cover makeup artists who do interesting things with makeup and fashion, but I don’t think I have ever come across someone who uses a religious garment to create art. If you didn’t know (I admit it, I Googled), a hijab is a veil or scarf worn by some Muslim people. Hijabs generally get a bad rap because most of the world doesn’t understand them, but makeup artist @queenofluna has decided to change that, and use her hijab in her art. It’s kind of a nice gesture since many Muslim girls don’t really have a Muslim Disney princess to look up to, but more than that its nice to see someone doing something creative to spread awareness of other cultures, or whatever and things.
