Bloomingdale’s Design Contest

Written by Bryce

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bloomingdale’s. All opinions are 100% mine.

For all of you that always dreamed of being a real fashion designer, considered going to F.I.T. or Parsons for college, or just generally love to keep your creative juices flowing, you’ll be pleased to know that Bloomingdale’s teamed up with fab designer Rebecca Minkoff to host a design-your-own-tote contest.  LOVE!

Entrants will design a unique reusable tote bag by logging onto www.bloomingdales.com/design. Contestants can use the tools on the site to digitally create a design or they can import an image from their own computer (this is where your photoshop-studmuffin of a boyfriend can actually contribute to your fashion habit in a free way).

I’m not a great designer, but I gave it a shot with some Springtime bubbles:

It’s kind of fun, and a great way to kill time at your desk when you should be working.  Even better, one winner will be chosen everyday to receive a $100 gift card.  Sounds good to me!

CONTEST INFO:

  • Contest runs from April 7- April 25, 2010
  • One winner will be chosen everyday, based on favorite submissions, and will receive a $100 Gift Card
  • Submissions will be whittled down to 50 favorites based on user votes
  • Grand prize winner who will receive a $2,000 shopping spree and the winning design will be sold exclusively at bloomingdales.com.
  • Entrant with the most votes can also win $1,000 shopping spree

The more you share this with your friends & get votes, the more likely you are to win… plus, reusable totes are chic and environmentally friendly:)
