Beauty Crave: Deep Conditioning Bliss

Written by Bryce

I have thick, curly, and often outrageous hair. It’s been raining here in New York all week and basically I’ve had two hair options: wild or ponytail. Since My hair is so thick, ponytails often leave a weird, painful spot on my scalp that reminds me to just accept nature’s plan for me: BIG HAIR. Big hair is fun, especially if you have the balls to pull it off, but it’s not fun when it’s overwhelmingly-frizzy and just downright dry. I’m loving this deep conditioning hair mask by Amika.

It’s chock full of sea buckthorn oil (the stuff that Russian beauties have been using for ages), Omega fatty acids, and Argan oil. It’s a frizzy gal’s best friend, basically. It’ll leave your mega-parched hair drenched in moisture and infused with all sorts of vitaminy goodness. And it smells pretty rad, too. If your hair is dry, wavy or curly, and at least medium to thick texture this is a must-try. If you have fine, wispy blonde hair that belongs on a Barbie doll you can disregard this post.
