Skinny mirrors are quite possibly one of my favorite things in life. If you’re a girl and don’t know what a “skinny mirror” is by now, well, I pity you my friend. I could just stare and stare at my slender reflection in a skinny mirror staring back at me for hours on end, my confidence shooting through the roof. While I typically have to adjust my normal full-length mirror by tilting it backwards to give me that satisfying slimming effect, graphic designer and entrepreneur Belinda Jasmine has set out to solve this very problem by starting a company called The Skinny Mirror. Yes, seriously! Essentially, she creates chic mirrors that use curved glass technology to make us ladies look teeny weeny. Sure it’s cheating and basically lying to yourself that you haven’t gained a few pounds, but hey, if it helps you get out the door a half hour earlier because you actually like the way you look, I’m all for it!
