Art Spotting: Surreal Photography by Adriano Sodre

Written by Gary

Normally photographers rely on the expressions of the models to convey the subject, but Sodre goes a different direction and creates mystery in the expressions that he chooses not to show.

As many of you may know I’m just not that into women, so it is only natural that I would like the photography of Adriano Sodre. There is something very mysterious about his photos, which I believe to be a mixture of lighting, subject, and interesting vintage forms and shapes.

Normally photographers rely on the expressions of the models to convey the subject, but Sodre goes a different direction and creates mystery in the expressions that he chooses not to show. Check out the following examples of his work and let me know if you agree.
