Art Spotting: Scribbled Line People

Scribbled line people are taking over the city!

Ever think to yourself “that girl is as skinny as a wire” or “that girl is so fake, I can see right through her!” Well, you could say both things about the models in this series of digitally manipulated portraits by Ayaka Iko and Randy Church, aptly named Scribbled Line People. Don’t worry, no models were harmed during the production of this project, despite the fact that it may look like they were each shoved down a shredder then hap hazzardly reassembled back together. I suppose the artists who collaborated on this project just figured it would be easier to take advantage of Iko’s eye for design and photography and Churche’s 3D programming talents – I’m sure the models would agree! However they did it, the results are stunning…
