Art Spotting: Jeff Burton Takes Tinseltown

The talented Jeff Burton is a young, up and coming photographer based in Los Angeles, California. After receiving an MFA in painting from CalArts in 1989, he began a career as a stills photographer. Now, as a fashion photographer, he has worked with Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Kris Van Assche, and Wrangler Europe. His photos have been in French Vogue, Vogue Hommes International, Vanity Fair and in The New York Times.

While themes contrast and his imagination wanders, Burton’s photographs exude images that are sexy, romantic, joyful, and just so beautiful, that they make us feel like turning to the West and heading to LA. His photographs somehow manage to capture the glamor and beauty of Old Hollywood: proud, and wise. Contrasted with the glitzy overly media-obsessed side that is represented today. His pictures are absolutely stunning and speak for themselves.
