North Carolina has quickly become the most anti-LGBT state in the country.
It’s a great time to visit North Carolina if you don’t like gay people! This previous Wednesday, the North Carolina government convened a special session to target Charlotte for passing an LGBT nondiscrimination ordinance, and basically created a hostile law that makes it illegal for counties to extend protection to the LGBT community. The law also bans transgender people from using restrooms that match their gender unless they have changed their birth certificate, and prevents civil discrimination suits from bring filed in state court.
So the moral of the story is, if you are a bigot, North Carolina wants YOU!
