8 American Cities to See Before You Die

The best American cities you need to see before you die.

1. Santa Fe, New Mexico. Whether you were wooed as a kid by the epic “Santa Fe” ballad from The Newsies, or you just generally like a little heat on your tongue, Santa Fe is a must-see American city. It boasts small town charm with low, antique buildings and big-city amenities like the world’s top outdoor opera house and several high end resorts like the Four Seasons, Santa Fe. The plaza area in downtown Santa Fe also features authentic, hand-crafted native American art from nearby pueblos. No, they can’t sell just any old piece of plastic from a factory in China– each artisan is vetted by the city before being allowed to lay his or her merchandise out on a native-style blanket to be sold to locals and tourists alike.
