If you thought I was from another planet with my post on hand-painted clogs, then you will really think I’m an alien with this post on Moon Boots! That’s right, I’m saying it, Moon Boots are still cute (the red vinyl ones are so hot right now). They were all the rage back in the 70’s, and continue to this day to remain on the scene as a go-to item for any snow bunny ensemble. Even Marc Jacobs launched a collection of Moon Boots a couple seasons back, so I’m not the only one taken by the this distinct astro-haute inspired footwear style. Personally, as cool as Jacob’s designer fur-covered Moon Boots looked, nothing can compare to the originals produced by Italian brand Tecnica.
