5 Pieces of Anna Wintour Art

Anna Wintour has reached that point in her life where people would like to have her visage immortalized in a frame on their living room wall. It’s an homage to Wintour in the same way those mass-produced Audrey Hepburn posters allowed the star’s likeness to live for years on the walls of college dorm rooms, only way less banal. The graffiti depiction of Anna, below, was created using stencils and spray paint – a far cry from Anna’s spotless buttoned up cardigans and recurring floral dresses. The artist Michael Mahaffey, who sells his works on Etsy, enjoys putting a new spin on easily recognized icons. Apparently, Anna is a fave icon to incorporate into artwork, as seen in the next slides…

Emily is a New Yorker trapped in a Floridian's body and loves every minute of her big city life. With a major in international business and years of being surrounded by ill-fitting suits and all the wrong shoes, she learned that the importance of fashion needs to be communicated to the world. To her, fashion is on the same level as charity work and feeding hungry children. Emily can be found frolicking the streets of her gayborhood enjoying the off-color humor of the gays.
