4 Manly Gifts for Your Boyfriend

gifts for boyfriends

This week, Gary and I had the pleasure of attending the Nautica gifting suite at the Bryant Park Hotel where manly gifts abound. Being surrounded by so much quality flannel, cologne, and gingerbread men got us thinking about boyfriends. Then we both felt compelled to put together a boyfriend (or “boyf” as we like to call them) gift guide for you all because that is where these quality flannels and colognes belong. So here you go:

1. Nautica Plaid Flannel Button-Up. In my opinion, this is the quintessential boyfriend (or man in general) gift. It’s one of those garments that you can tell is not from the sale rack in the Forever 21 men’s section. It is made with good quality fabric, is well tailored, and seems like a shirt in which a man can go chop down a Christmas tree whilst staying warm.

2. The Art of Shaving Mid-Size Kit. When it comes to gifts, I love a good kit. Usually, kit = useful, which means that this won’t be one of those gifts that gets thrown away as soon as everyone leaves the holiday party. This mid-size shave kit comes with the 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave and meets TSA guidelines for those traveling fellows in your life. It comes in fun, masculine scents, too!

3. Cole Haan Tablet Smartcover in Woodbury. If you’re going to give a loved one a tech accessory, at least have it be in an exciting material such as leather. What better purveyor of fine leather goods than Cole Haan? Plus, if you live in NYC, you know all about their #Don’tGoHome campaign, which not only speaks the whole truth, but also makes you want to buy out their inventory because they just get it.

4. Nautica Aqua Rush Cologne. Gary has this and it makes him smell like he showered. He says that people come up to him when he wears it and tell him that he smells “so fresh and so clean.” This is the necessary gift for the man who is known to skip a shower or two, or who is known to wear Eau de CVS.
