Beauty expert and Hollywood make-up artist, Scott Barnes, unveiled his new book, About Face in New York along with some of celebrity clients who rely on him to make them look flawless. Celebrities who came out to support Barnes and his book were actress and singer Jennifer Lopez, musician Marc Anthony, Judith Light from “Ugly Betty,” musical artist Kat Deluna, singer and actress Kelly Rowland, Sylvia Tosun, award-winning singer and songwriter, talk show host and author Wendy Williams, Christian Siriano, fashion designer and “Project Runway” winner, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps from “The Real Housewives of New York City,” actor and current “30 Rock” star Cheyenne Jackson, photographer Karl Simone, model Frederique and celebrity hairstylist, Orbie, all attended the launch party.

The launch party for About Face was held at Provocateur at the Hotel Gansevoort, where guests enjoyed an exclusive remix of Jennifer Lopez’s single “Louboutins.”

About Face, Amazing Transformations Using the Secrets of the Top Celebrity Makeup Artist is Barnes first book. The book gives you a look into how celebrities get their flawless looks from Hollywood’s top makeup artist. About Face also shows how real, everyday women can achieve the flawless looks of the stars regardless of age or ethnicity.

Long-time friend and client, Jennifer Lopez wrote the foreword for About Face, which was inspired from Scott’s desire to help each and every woman achieve both inner and outer beauty.
